Loughborough UNESCO Student Network

A brand new network has been launched in partnership between Loughborough University students and the UNESCO Chair on Sport, Physical Activity and Education for Development.

The Loughborough UNESCO Student Network is led by Doctoral Researchers and Postgraduate Taught students in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Science. Their aim is to advance knowledge, empower and collaborate globally to tackle social inequalities through sport.

Ideas proposed at the launch meeting included workshops and seminars surrounding the topics of the UNESCO Chair, peer-support groups, campaigning to make an impact in the local community, and events of public engagement.

If you would like to be involved in the network, you can send an email to the network co-leads Naomi Harte (n.harte@lboro.ac.uk) and Alessio Norrito (a.norrito@lboro.ac.uk).
