Help shape Gender Equality at Loughborough through Athena Swan

The Athena Swan Charter is a national framework that advances gender equality in Higher Education.

The University has held an institutional Athena SWAN award continuously since 2009 and all Schools are active in seeking awards. The institutional award is due for renewal in March 2023 and the University is forming the institutional team to lead this submission. This is an exciting opportunity to shape gender equality at Loughborough that is open to all colleagues in all job families and at all grades.

We are looking for members from Central Services departments of both administrative and management grades to join the team. As a member, you will be expected to attend a 90-minute meeting, four times per year. Occasionally, you may also be required to undertake some additional work between meetings but this should take no longer than a couple of hours. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email Mike Chenery by 27 April 2022.
