There will be some disruption to the wireless and wired networks while the update is being applied.
Following the update, some older devices where the manufacturer has not provided the latest security patches will no longer be able to connect to the eduroam network.
The minimum supported Operating Systems are:
- Windows 10
- macOS 10.13 High Sierra
- iOS 11 (iPhone 5s/6)
- iPadOS 13.1
- Android 6 Marshmallow
If you use a University-managed Windows 10 device no further action is required.
Any personal devices should be updated to the latest supported Operating System. Please refer to the manufacturer’s guidance for instructions on how to apply updates to your device.
