To get involved you need to submit a five-minute presentation (maximum three slides) on any of the following by 28 August:
- Sustainability
- Renewable energy
- Zero carbon
- HVAC
- Refrigeration
- Building controls
- IEQ (thermal, visual, IAQ, acoustic)
- Building simulation
- Data in building
- Passive design
- Building physics
Your presentation will be judged by industry professionals and there will also be a chance to hear from and chat to business leaders when the awards are announced via MS Teams on 1 September, 1pm-5pm.
PhD students will be judged in a separate category to undergraduates and master’s students.
The prizes for PhD students are:
- 1st prize - £250 cash prize
- 2nd prize - £100
- 3rd prize – 1 year student membership to ASHRAE and 1 year smart start programme membership
The prizes for undergraduates and master’s students are:
- 1st prize - £250 cash prize
- 2nd prize - £100
- 3rd prize – £100 worth of BSRIA guides
