Get support through the Wellbeing Café Project

Loughborough Wellbeing Centre CIC (Ltd) has been delivering monthly evening wellbeing cafés for adults of all ages who experience mental health problems in the Charnwood area since October 2015.

The café provides a safe, supportive and welcoming place to go when other support services are closed. They aim to support people’s recovery and resilience to mental health issues and encourage a peer support network, including a growing number of students, that helps people to feel part of the community again.

They are now running their cafes virtually on Zoom. You can access these from www.zoom.us by clicking on ‘Join a meeting’ at the top of the webpage and typing in the code for the café activity you would like to join. You can choose not to have your video on, although you will need to allow access to your microphone to be able to chat with the team.

The events taking place for the remainder of this week are as follows:

  • Thursday 8 October, 7pm:Mindfulness and Meditation made easy (Zoom code 839 8091 8038)
  • Friday 8 October, 2pm: Virtual Yoga (beginners welcome!) (Zoom code 844 6645 2876 – please enter Password 587036 when requested)
