Students: Access on-demand careers guidance and advice on Learn with the Careers Network

If you’re looking for top tips on recruitment processes or guidance on how to secure a placement or internship, the Careers Network has now created a module on Learn full of relevant resources to support your future career.

The content includes videos tailored to your year of study – including postgraduate taught students – with information about planning your career, networking and finding work experience.

It also delves into topics such as taking a year abroad to work or study, as well as introductory information about what the Careers Network can offer to students.

The portal will be updated regularly with new resources, videos and useful links, so be sure to check it out throughout the academic year when you need support in relation to your career.

You can access all of this online now via Learn – please note you will be required to sign in using your University username and password.

In addition to this on-demand content available on Learn, students can benefit from a variety of services offered by the Network. This includes virtual events and workshops, 1:1 appointments, the Personal Best programme and opportunities to make connections with future employers and Loughborough alumni.

And if you haven’t already, be sure to get involved in this week’s Autumn Careers Fair. Held virtually for the first time, you can attend various presentations and Q&As with employers such as Amazon, the Army, Teach First and Page Kirk, all in the comfort of your own room.

For more information about the Careers Network, please visit the dedicated website or email careers@lboro.ac.uk.
