At the end of March, POST (Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology) issued a call out for academics to sign up to their expert database to facilitate access to insight across many different research areas and specialisms.

Subsequently, the team issued a survey inviting experts on the database to share their concerns around the immediate, short, medium and long-term impacts of the outbreak on a wide range of topics, including the economy, public health, and research and innovation – to which Loughborough experts across different Schools responded.

POST has begun publishing a series of reports outlining the results of their findings and analysis, centred around 15 broad areas of concern, which are available online.
