Changes to Digital Week
Changes have been made to the upcoming Digital Week (16-20 March).
All face-to-face events have been postponed.
The University has created a bank of online resources for Digital Week, promoting digital fluency across campus, raising awareness and giving insight into the digital tools available at Loughborough.
The resources are divided into five digital themes – communication, research, wellbeing, security, and learning and teaching.
Available for students and staff at both campuses, participation in Digital Week will count towards students’ Personal Best badges.
LinkedIn Learning playlists will be available for each theme, including digital citizenship, data visualisation and internet safety.
Professor Rachel Thomson, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Teaching commented: “Digital Week showcases many of the tools and systems we have available at Loughborough to enable you to work and study effectively.
“This week is underpinned by our Digital Strategy for Learning and Teaching, which we have been delivering on to provide a series of tools to enhance the learning experience for students, to develop the digital fluency of students and staff, and to deliver consistent and efficient processes underpinning teaching to streamline the user experience.
“I hope that many of you will get involved in the activities on offer and further develop your skills during the week too.”
Information on Digital Week can be found on the dedicated webpage.
