Vice-Chancellor returns to campus to thank the Catering team

Last Friday the Vice-Chancellor visited the Loughborough campus to thank the Catering team for their hard work, and to talk to students who are unable to go home.

After the successful launch of the click and collect online grocery store as well as the continued food services for staff and students still on campus, the Catering Team received well-deserved praise from the Vice-Chancellor.

In the Faraday and Royce dining halls, which are still open for takeaway, staff were thanked in person, whilst abiding social distancing rules.

Gagan Kapoor, Head of Catering said: “The Vice-Chancellor’s visit was motivating for those of us maintaining the essential services for the #LboroFamily. I would also like to thank my colleagues who are working behind the scenes to support our endeavours to react promptly to requests from the community.”

The team will continue to provide their services throughout the Easter break
