University catering supplier offers home deliveries for food supplies

University supplier Bidfood is a national wholesale operator that is currently offering home deliveries of food supplies to people across the country.

For some, this service will be useful if they are unable to visit the supermarket, use the University’s new grocery click and collect service, or are unable to find any delivery slots from any of the supermarkets.

Those who are interested in Bidfood’s online home delivery service will need to register on their website and choose a home delivery option (collection from their depot in Nottingham is also available).

Within 48 hours, individuals will be contacted by Bidfood with a login and password, and orders can be then placed for next day delivery based on a cut-off order time of 4pm.

Bidfood have an extensive range of fresh food, frozen and chilled goods, as well as non-food items. Please note the pack sizes will be larger than the standard retail offer due to them being a wholesaler (for example, dry penne pasta is available to buy in units of 3.5kg). A minimum spend of £100 is required.

More information on the range of products Bidfood offers can be found here.
