Professor Jiyin Liu
Professor of Operations Management
With expertise in the modelling and optimisation of operations planning problems in logistics and production systems, Jiyin's research focuses on problems that have both academic value and practical relevance.
Dr Alok Choudhary
Reader in Supply Chain Management
Dr Choudhary's research focuses on the sustainability of logistics and supply chain industry. His research and consultancy activities have seen him work with the European Commission, British Council, Carbon Trust, Rolls-Royce and several leading organisations across EU and India on topics related to logistics, supply chain management, and data analytics applications.

Professor Peter Kawalek

Director of the Centre for Information Management
Professor Kawalek is an expert in the Digital Economy and the effects of digitization on business and then society. He is a highly respected and prolific scholar; has led or co-investigated research projects to a value of around £2million; and has professional and consultancy experience with a wide range of multinational organisations.

Dr Giovanni Calice
Senior Lecturer in Finance
Dr Calice’s areas of research expertise are in financial markets and institutions, financial innovation and financial stability. In particular, his most recent research focusses on sovereign risk, systemic risk in the financial sector, market liquidity and asset pricing.

Dr Crispin Coombs
Reader in Information Systems
Dr Coombs is an expert in the behavioural impacts of new technologies, their successful implementation within organisations and people’s attitudes and behaviours towards IT.

Dr Elena Georgiadou
Lecturer in International Management
Dr Georgiadou’s research centres around two areas: SME internationalisation and international negotiations.

Dr Andrea Lagna

Dr Lagna’s research expertise is in the management of digital innovations and financial technologies. He is a member of Academy of Management (AOM), a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and programme director for our MSc International Business.

Professor Li’s area of expertise is in statistical modelling and analysis for complex problems in a wide range of management science areas.

Dr Andrew Rothwell
Programme Director for MSc Human Resource Management and MSc Employment Relations and Human Resource Management
Andrew is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). He has extensive experience of Human Resource Development, Human Resource Management and Leadership. His research interests include employability and continuing professional development.

Brian Searle

Brian Searle has extensive teaching experience in all areas of marketing. He has a wealth of experience in the marketing industry especially with print media and has received industry awards for his achievements in advertising.

Dr Kavita Sirichand

Lecturer in Financial Economics
Dr Kavita Sirichand’s research focusses on applied financial economics and macroeconomics, particularly around interest rates, asset return predictability, forecasting and inflation.

Dr Kai-Hong Tee
Senior Lecturer in Finance

Dr Kai-Hong Tee is from Singapore and is an expert in financial investment risk. He has published in the area of risk valuation/assessment and has also published research on the potential risk issues and effects following the 2008 credit crisis. This included exploring topics such as the effects of contagion among stock markets following news releases about the collapse of banks and subsequent bail-outs.

Angelika's research focuses on international cooperation and organisational strategic context, in the areas of international / virtual teams; international HR management; Intercultural training; and expatriate adjustment.
