Nishat is a Lecturer in the Work and Organisation group at Loughborough Business School. She attained her PhD from Aston Business School in 2016. Prior to joining Loughborough, Nishat worked as a Lecturer at Aston University (Birmingham, UK) and subsequent to this as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Aberdeen’s overseas campus in Doha (Qatar).
She is a registered Chartered Psychologist with, and Associate Fellow of, the British Psychological Society. She is also a member of the Parliament’s Community of Practice (CoP) and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Nishat’s current research interests are around the areas of leadership (eg abusive supervision, servant leadership), micro-levels of corporate social responsibility, and more broadly on employee wellbeing. She has published in academic and practitioner outlets on these topics.
