Dr Giovanni Calice
Senior Lecturer in Finance
Dr Calice’s areas of research expertise are in financial markets and institutions, financial innovation and financial stability. In particular, his most recent research focusses on sovereign risk, systemic risk in the financial sector, market liquidity and asset pricing.
Dr Anna Raffoni
Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance
Programme Director, MSc Corporate Finance
Dr Anna Raffoni 's research expertise lies in the area of performance management, business analytics and strategic management accounting.
Professor David Llewellyn
Professor of Money and Banking
Professor Llewellyn has until recently been Chairman of the Board of the Banking Stakeholder Group at the European Banking Authority (EBA). He is an internationally recognised expert in financial regulation and is regularly interviewed by Sky TV and other media outlets.
Professor Alistair Milne
Professor of Financial Economics
Professor Milne was previously reader in banking and finance at Cass Business School, City University of London and has also held positions at the Bank of England, the University of Surrey, London Business School, HM Treasury and the national statistics office of Malawi.
Dr Kavita Sirichand
Programme Director, MSc Finance
Lecturer in Financial Economics
Dr Kavita Sirichand’s research focusses on applied financial economics and macroeconomics, particularly around interest rates, asset return predictability, forecasting and inflation.
Dr Kai-Hong Tee
Senior Lecturer in Finance
Programme Director for MSc Finance and Management
Dr Kai-Hong Tee is from Singapore and is an expert in financial investment risk. He has published in the area of risk valuation/assessment and has also published research on the potential risk issues and effects following the 2008 credit crisis. This included exploring topics such as the effects of contagion among stock markets following news releases about the collapse of banks and subsequent bail-outs.
Professor Baibing Li
Professor of Business Statistics and Management Science
Professor Li’s area of expertise is in statistical modelling and analysis for complex problems in a wide range of management science areas.
Professor Andrew Vivian
Professor of Finance
Dr Vivian’s research interests are in the areas of Investments, Empirical Finance, Commodities and Market Efficiency. He has extensive teaching experience in Economics and Finance and is the Programme Director for our three MScs in Finance.
Dr Petros Vourvachis
Lecturer in Financial Accounting
Dr Vourvachis’ is an expert in corporate accounting and accountability, corporate social (and environmental) reporting, and particularly in corporate social responsibility reporting. He has won awards for the quality of teaching, which focusses on Financial Accounting and Reporting and Corporate Governance and Responsibility. He is a member of wide range of accountancy bodies and has professional experience as an accountant.
