The government announced last week that they are consulting on proposals to extend the sugar tax that is currently applied to fizzy drinks, to include pre-packaged milk-based drinks, as well as non-dairy substitutes such as oat or rice milks.

There will also be sound checks taking place on Saturday 18 May in the afternoon.

Volunteers Required

The Global Educational Trust charity gives away free books to those in need and in fact to anyone. The books are saved from landfill and 'shops' set up and then with new donations and great volunteers, these spaces become a great community space for as long as we remain there. We are in need or volunteers to help set this up in Loughborough, if interested please contact me.

Brain activity and appetite research
