AI for Policy, Impact and Public Engagement

  • 22 January 2026
  • 1pm-2pm
  • Online

This one‑hour session, led by ICF Accredited Coach Dr Naomi Tyrrell, is designed to show researchers how generative AI tools can be used to strengthen evidence for policy, improve impact pathways and create accessible public engagement outputs. We cover rapid insight generation, narrative building, stakeholder mapping, accessibility checks and creating clear summaries for non-specialist audiences. You will finish with practical methods you can apply immediately to communicate research more effectively and support policy and impact goals.

Hosted by C-DICE, the Centre for Postdoctoral Development in Infrastructure, Cities and Energy.

Late stage PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and Early Career Researchers in net zero topics are all welcome.
