Have Your Say: Engaging Men in EDI

Loughborough University is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every member of our community plays an active role in shaping our culture. As part of our Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) strategy, we are launching a project to better understand and integrate the perspectives of men who are staff and students into our institutional work.

The ‘Have Your Say: Engaging Men in EDI’ initiative provides an opportunity for the University to hear directly from men about their lived experiences, challenges, and opinions about engaging in EDI work. By participating, you will help ensure that Loughborough’s approach to EDI is representative, inclusive and meets the needs of the University community.

During this period, staff and students can submit feedback through one of the following ways:

  • In-person workshop: 28 April, 2.30pm-4pm, Rutland 1.01 – Book your place. Please note, this workshop is open to men only and will be facilitated by members of staff who are men. Light refreshments will be provided.
  • Online drop-in sessions: 5 May, 9.30am-11.30am and 20 May, 2pm-4pm, via Microsoft Teams, please email edi@lboro.ac.uk to book a slot.
  • Share your input anonymously via the online form.

EDI Services welcome and value your feedback. Your contributions will play a key role in shaping this important piece of work and help inform future practice.

If you have any questions about the workshop, the wider piece of work, or EDI more broadly, please contact EDI Services at edi@lboro.ac.uk or Bradie McDaid, EDI Engagement & Communications Officer at B.J.McDaid@lboro.ac.uk
