At the Welcome Event on Wednesday 28 January, you can hear from Dragons’ Den’s Zak Marks and visit the exhibitors, including JLR, Capital One and St Gobain.
Whether you want to focus on employability skills such as time management or interview techniques, meet employers, develop a business idea, or tap into your creative side, there is something for everyone during the week. You could learn a new skill on the Mental Health Ambassador course, develop your ability to overcome imposter syndrome and procrastination, or attend a dissertation writing retreat.
You can pick your pathway through the week and book onto the sessions that will help boost your next steps on your career journey and build confidence for your life during and after university.

Throughout Futures Festival, you can collect stamps by attending sessions - the more stamps you collect, the more rewards you can unlock. That could be a £25 stash shop voucher, a £100 Love to Shop voucher or even an Apple iPad! If you complete all four Student Success Academy sessions, you will get a goodie bag.
You can also boost your Personal Best Award - some new badges, activities and updates have been embedded into Futures Festival activities to help you develop current skills and stand out to future employers.
