Sarah Roberts, Furniture and Domestic Services Manager, shared the following: “Twin was a valued and respected member of the Domestic Services team since 2008. He worked as a Premises Officer and supported many schools across campus and, in recent years, was primarily based within SDCA Creative Arts. Over the years, many colleagues have acknowledged his significant contribution to maintaining the working environment and supporting key events such as graduation ceremonies, examinations and degree shows.
“He was an integral part of the service and was highly regarded by colleagues both within the team and across the schools. He always made time to listen, offer support, and advocate for the right course of action. Twin was someone we could truly rely on - calm under pressure, with a wonderful sense of humour that made working alongside him such a pleasure.
“Our heartfelt thoughts and sincere condolences are with his wife, Denise and his family. Twin will never be forgotten. We will cherish the memories we shared, and his warmth, humour and spirit will remain with us always.”
Twin’s funeral will take place on Friday, 6 March 2026, 1pm at St Mary’s Catholic Church, Ashby Road, Loughborough.
