Professor Novac was a well-known colleague within the School, who joined the then-department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University in October 1998 as a full-time Research Associate. He was then later promoted to Research Fellow (2000), Senior Research Fellow (2002), Senior Lecturer (2003), Reader (2009), and Professor of Pulsed Power (2011).  

Our sincere condolences go to Professor Novac’s family. We know many colleagues and students on campus knew him and our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
