You can make choices to improve how you navigate around Microsoft Teams by moving and grouping your chats and channels together to suit how you work best and most efficiently.

When is it happening?

Microsoft have announced the rollout will be taking place from mid-June to the end of July.

Does this affect me and how?

All users of Microsoft Teams will receive this update, however the new unified view is only available if you are using the ‘List’ layout. To switch between the ‘Grid’ and ‘List’ layouts, use the Appearance settings in the Microsoft Teams app.

This change will update automatically, so you do not need to do anything.
