We’re pleased to announce that the University’s ‘The World Can’t Wait’ campaign has been awarded Bronze at the prestigious CASE Circle of Excellence Awards 2025.

These awards celebrate outstanding work that recognises achievements across marketing, communications, fundraising, alumni relations, and advancement services. Winners are selected for overall quality, innovation, use of resources, and the impact on the institution or its communities, such as alumni, parents, students, faculty, and staff.

This creative campaign aimed to elevate the University’s global awareness and research recognition. Focusing content on Loughborough’s three strategic themes – Climate Change and Net Zero; Sports, Health and Wellbeing; and Vibrant and Inclusive Communities – the campaign successfully engaged prospective students and academics as well as business leaders and policymakers. It saw strong engagement in key international markets including the USA, China, India and Nigeria, thereby enhancing the University's global brand identity.

The judges commented: “This global campaign is a bold, well-executed effort that effectively evolves the institution’s core identity with engaging visuals and strong strategic planning. Detailed key performance indicators, budget transparency, and clear return on investment demonstrate its impact. It’s a standout international campaign that balances creativity with solid measurement and phased optimisation.”

Sarah Bostock, Head of Strategic Marketing commented: “I’m absolutely thrilled to see the team recognised with this award. This was a big step forward for the University, and was made possible thanks to the collective effort of so many talented and passionate members of Marketing & Advancement who all worked extremely hard on it for months and continue to as it evolves.”
