School of Design and Creative Arts students recognised at New Designers and D&AD

A group of students from the School of Design and Creative Arts are celebrating after recently receiving awards and prizes in recognition of their outstanding work displayed at New Designers and the D&AD New Blood Exhibition.

New Designers is an annual showcase of the UK’s most innovative emerging design talent. The event takes place over two weeks, with different disciplines highlighted in week one and week two, spanning fashion, textiles, furniture, product design, illustration, and more.

During Week 1 of New Designers, 15 Loughborough Textile Design students attended. Special congratulations to the following winners: 

In Week 2, 14 Loughborough Design, Product Design and Technology and Industrial Design students attended New Designers. Special congratulations to the following winner: 

A group of 40 Loughborough Graphic Design and Graphic Communication and Illustration students exhibited their work at the D&AD New Blood Festival earlier this month. Congratulations to the following students on their pencil awards:
