Changes in the academic calendar year mean that Week 0 between Semesters 1 and 2 (Monday 26 – Friday 30 January 2026) has been dedicated to professional and personal skills development that builds confidence for your life during and after university. This is an exciting opportunity to explore your career paths, get involved in entrepreneurship activities and develop vital skills for success.
Futures Festival now includes Talk Sport 2026. The event will feature industry specialists such as the Director of Global Partner Publishing at Adidas, the Sports Nutritionist at Leicester Tigers Rugby, the Academy Strength and Conditioning Coach at Sale Sharks, and many more. Talk Sport is open to anyone interested in a career within the sports, exercise and health industry, regardless of degree programme or year.
Throughout Futures Festival, you can collect stamps by attending sessions - the more stamps you collect, the more rewards you can unlock. That could be a £100 Love to Shop voucher or even an Apple iPad!
