Returning students – IT guide

As a returning student, there are a few things which IT Services have listed for you to be aware of.

eduroam  

The certificate used to connect your device to the University's secure network (eduroam) expires annually.

You may find that returning to campus, your devices are no longer connected to eduroam.

How to reconnect your device to eduroam.

Duo Mobile

If you have changed your phone or factory reset your phone, you will not be able to register a new device yourself; you will need to contact IT Services on 01509 222 333 (Monday-Friday, 8.45am-5pm), and they can get you set up over the phone.  

If you are outside the UK, the number is (+44) 1509 222 333. 

Learn 24 

If you require access to resources from the 2024/2025 academic year, you now need to use the Learn24 archive.  

To access archived versions of Learn, follow the steps below:

  • Log into Learn.lboro.ac.uk
  • Once logged in, navigate to the top right corner and click on your initials 
  • You will see Learn Archives
  • To access Learn24 off campus, you will need to use the University VPN (please be aware that when connecting to the VPN, you will need to authenticate using Duo Mobile)
