Supreme Court ruling: Update on practical implications for staff, students and visitors to campus accessing toilet facilities
Following the UK Supreme Court ruling that in the Equality Act 2010 ‘sex’ means biological sex and as such, workplaces need to provide single sex toilet facilities. The EHRC has provided interim guidance that organisations should continue to adhere to the Equality Act 2010 and ensure protection for all protected characteristics, including trans and non-binary people.

Gabriel Stewart
We are very sad to let you know of the death of a current student, Gabriel Stewart, who was studying Industrial Design. Gabriel was an active member of the Loughborough community as Chair of the Design Society and through Loughborough Students’ Rowing and Boxing.
