Further update: Intermittent Wi-Fi connectivity issues
To resolve the intermittent issues with Wi-Fi connectivity that some of you may have experienced over the last week, we have made some changes to the way in which devices connect to the network, which appears to have stabilised the problem.
Protest in Loughborough: Saturday 4 October
The University is aware that a protest is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 4 October at 1pm at the Ramada hotel in Loughborough. The protest is against asylum seekers.
Statement from the University: Today’s Manchester synagogue attack
Today’s antisemitic attack at a synagogue in Manchester on Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the Jewish calendar, is deeply distressing. Our thoughts are with those directly affected, as well as our Jewish colleagues and students who may be feeling shock, grief and fear in the aftermath of this incident.

On Tuesday 7 October the servers managing iTrent, Web Recruitment and myHR will be upgraded to Windows 2025. During this time, these services will not be available.
