Run by fine art photographer Dean Leivers, the course covers everything from project planning to image creation on campus, with technical assistance available. Your final work will also be showcased online on the LU Arts website.
The course is open exclusively to Loughborough University students and staff and costs £20 for the four weeks. The sessions will run 2pm-4.30pm each Wednesday.
Please note that you cannot sign up for individual sessions. Please check the dates and times for each week before you go ahead and book.
You will need to bring your own camera with you to each session. Please note that smart phone cameras will not be suitable.

Dean Leivers is an East Midlands based fine art photographer/creative practitioner. After gaining an undergraduate Photography degree at University College Falmouth in 2008 he has worked extensively as a freelance artist and educator. He is motivated to investigate his surroundings through photography. Current practice/research interests are portraiture, landscape and the way that these photographic styles can be utilised to unpick and document communities.
Dean is currently delivering large scale collaborative project work, primarily in schools, leading analogue photography workshops which utilise mindfulness techniques and approaches that are part of larger programmes of mindfulness activities aimed at young people between the ages of 3-18.
