Taking place on Monday 30 October, Professor Charlotte Croffie (Pro Vice-Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) will chair a panel with the following:

Amanda Daley – Professor of Behavioural Medicine and Director of the Centre for Lifestyle Medicine and Behaviour (CLiMB), based in the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences

Patricia Carrillo, Professor of Strategic Management in Construction, based in the School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering

Sheryl Williams, Professor of Engineering Education Technology and Director of Studies for Postgraduate Taught Programmes, based within the School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering
Charlotte will ask the panellists about their journeys to becoming professors and their lived experiences as part of the UK academy. Discussion points around how Loughborough University is and can make a positive change will also be covered, focusing on our aspirations for the academy. At the end of the session, there will be time for the audience to ask the panellists questions at the end.
The event will take place from 11am-12pm in Room 1.01 in the Rutland Building on the East Midlands campus. There will also be the option to join remotely via MS Teams for those who are not able to attend in-person. Staff, students and alumni are all welcome and encouraged to attend.
