Upcoming workshop on commercialisation and knowledge exchange

The Associate Pro-Vice Chancellors for Sport, Health and Wellbeing, and the Research and Innovation Office are excited to announce a workshop on commercialisation and knowledge exchange.

The workshop is open for colleagues who want to share their experiences and insights in three main sessions around commercialisation, knowledge transfer partnership, and opportunities to work with companies within sport, health and wellbeing. Their expertise will provide valuable guidance for those looking to convert their research and ideas into real-world applications.

The workshop will provide opportunities for learning, as well as networking and collaboration; we encourage active engagement for participants to ask questions and share their own thoughts and ideas.

Dr Diwei Zhou, Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor for Sport, Health and Wellbeing, said: “In our unceasing pursuit of excellence, we recognise the substantial potential in the strategic theme of sport, health, and wellbeing. This workshop, open to all University staff, aims to foster collaboration where knowledge meets action, bridging academia and industry.”

The workshop is free to attend and anyone attending must book via the link provided. The final day to sign up for this event is Monday 20 November. Capacity for this event is 60 people; register early to secure a space.

The workshop takes place on Wednesday 29 November from 10am-3pm and will be held in D002 in the James France Building.
