These roles include welcoming guests, providing directional support, helping with queue management, and supporting with the ceremony and drinks reception logistics.
There are a number of different shifts available to suit different work patterns, these include:
- 7.30am-2pm
- 8am-5.30pm
- 2.30-6pm
Depending on the role, there may be some flexibility with start and finish times, so even if you can’t do a full shift the team might still be able to find something suitable for you.
All staff working a shift will be entitled to a free lunch voucher and drinks vouchers throughout the day. You will also have a team leader in each area to support you throughout the shift, and to be on hand to answer any guest questions you’re unsure of. A full briefing document will also be provided in advance, detailing what is expected of you and with all of the key information needed.
Please check with your manager before volunteering. If you can help, please complete the staff volunteer form by Monday 4 December 2023.
If you have any questions, please contact the Events Team by email at events@lboro.ac.uk.
As always, the successful delivery of graduation is very much dependent on the support from staff across the University, so many thanks in advance for any assistance that you are able to provide.
