Research and Innovation Core Plan: Drop-in workshop for staff

Following the launch of the University Strategy ‘Creating Better Futures. Together’ last year and after consultations with stakeholders to support the development of the Research and Innovation Core Plan, the next step is to provide everyone with an opportunity to view the current progress of the core plan, provide feedback and any further thoughts.

As a reminder, the core plan will ultimately determine the actions we take to meet the aspirations of the 2030 University Strategy, which states that we will:

  • Align our research and innovation activities
  • Raise the level of our research ambition
  • Encourage collaborative and interdisciplinary working
  • Invigorate our research culture.

We would like you to join us to continue the journey of developing our thinking and provide a reflection point on the current progress. There will also be further opportunities to share ideas.

The event will take place on our Loughborough campus, at the University Stadium Function Room on Tuesday 23 May, from 12pm-2.30pm.

This core plan drop-in session is an opportunity for you to help shape plans that will deliver our ambition for Research and Innovation at Loughborough University and how this relates to you. You are invited to ‘drop in’ to the event any time between 12pm and 2.30pm, there is no obligation to attend for the whole event, but you are welcome to stay for as long as you like.

Lunch will be provided at the event, please note any dietary requirements on the booking form, or email them to c.dunkin@lboro.ac.uk

Book your place now.
