Reminder: General Assembly - Friday 16 June

An extraordinary meeting of General Assembly will be held on Friday 16 June 2023 at 3.30pm.

The meeting is in-person only and will be held in Edward Herbert Building Room 110A on the Loughborough campus. A video link will be available for colleagues at the London campus in Room LDN 3.23.

The extraordinary meeting of General Assembly has been called following requisition in writing of 25 members as required by paragraph 6 of Statute XV. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the University’s decision to make pay deductions in response to the University and College Union’s Marking and Assessment Boycott called in April 2023.

All University staff are members of the General Assembly and are encouraged to attend. General Assembly is a collective staff forum established under the University’s Royal Charter. Its role is set out in Statute XV.
