Aimée Darley, a Loughborough Civil Engineering student, has won the Women in Property West Midlands Student Award, taking her through to the national final.

Aimée is one of two regional winners who will go forward to represent the Midlands at the national final in September.

The judges said of Aimée: “…she gave a great presentation with a really engaging presence in the room, a great ambassador”.

Regional winners receive a £500 cash prize, a trophy, and the opportunity to take part in Women in Property’s mentoring programme.

At the final judging panel on 21 September, Aimée will compete with 12 other students for the top national award. This will be followed by the national ‘Best of the Best’ awards dinner in London where the winner will be announced.

Hannah Floyd, Women in Property Midlands Branch Chair and Director of FF&E Consultancy Pi SQ, said: “I am delighted for Aimée and Elsie, who will go on to represent the East and West Midlands respectively. Our Awards programme works with universities across the region, seeking out their brightest and best students.”
