Awards success for Creative and Print Services

The University Creative and Print Services team recently attended the Association of Creative and Print Managers in Education (ACPME) awards and picked up an impressive four awards.

These awards were as follows:

  • Winner for Best In-House Online Production
  • Winner for Best In-House Sustainability
  • Highly Commended for Service of the Year
  • Highly Commended for Best In-House Design

In the category ‘Best In-House Design’, the judges were impressed with the versatile brand development work for Loughborough Business School. The judges enjoyed seeing the process, research, progress wheel, shapes and their diverse application.

The judges were also excited by the impactful video produced for the Powerbase gym which won ‘Best In-House Online Production’, describing it as “exciting, powerful and immersive and perfect for the target audience”.

Helen Clarke, Print, Post and Logistics Manager, collected two of the awards for her team, who were highly commended as ‘Service of the Year’, and named the inaugural winners of the new ‘Best In-House for Sustainability’ award. Helen said: “I was immensely proud to receive these awards on behalf of the Print, Post and Logistics team – we have worked incredibly hard over the past few years to improve the culture and align our activities to support the University’s strategic aims and objectives.”

During the Conference, Helen was also voted in as Executive Director to the Board of ACPME.
