The role of Director of the IAS is now available for internal academic applications.
The Institute of Advanced Studies is a flagship component of Loughborough University’s Research and Innovation ecosystem. It aims to promote an outstanding research and innovation culture and environment at Loughborough through the support of collaborations and partnerships with leading international scholars from institutions around the world.
The purpose of the role is to provide academic leadership of the Institute of Advanced Studies and, more generally, to support the Pro Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation) in the delivery of the Research and Innovation Core Plan.
The role is 0.4FTE and the expectation is that it will be filled by a staff member with significant experience and passion for the area, who can provide evidence of leadership, can demonstrate an international research and innovation profile, and experience of interdisciplinary working.
