Loughborough University Casual Worker Experience Survey – 4-22 December 2023

Last month, the University undertook a Staff Experience Survey to capture the employee experience of open-ended/fixed-term employees.

Whilst this survey has highlighted the working experience for many colleagues at Loughborough, we recognise the experiences of our casual workers are unique to these. Therefore, a Casual Worker Experience Survey has launched today (4 December 2023) for those who have undertaken casual work over the last 12 months at the University.

Casual workers who have worked over these 12 months have been invited via email. This survey is an opportunity for you to use your voice, enabling the University to continue working to create an inclusive, fair and respectful culture that seeks to achieve its full potential and ultimately, Create Better Futures Together.

The feedback received from the survey will help the University to focus on the things that are most important to casual workers and prioritise areas of improvement. The data will also be used to improve working conditions and practices and the working experience the University provides.

The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and will ask questions about wellbeing, recognition, leadership, development, EDI, and overall job satisfaction. The survey closes on Friday 22 December 2023.

If you have any questions about the survey, please contact Renae Huggan-Broughton
