Following recent conversations about the summer holidays, Cost of Living and the need to entertain families while children are off school, the School’s Out for Summer campus map and activity bag enable colleagues to make the most of our campus with their families.
The map will be available digitally shortly.
A4 printed versions of the map can be collected from Hazlerigg alongside an activity bag. You can book a free bag to access all the equipment you’ll need to make your on-campus adventure as fun and as easy as possible.
There is a limited number of bags available at any one time, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
You can share your adventures on the Network Teams Chat.
The network is also running an art competition for children of any age to get involved in. The theme is ‘A Summer’s Day’ and any medium can be used including colouring, sculptures, photography or craft creations.
All entrants will receive a certificate for taking part, with additional prizes on offer for the winning pieces, selected by the judges: Nick Slater (Director of LU Arts) and Dr Jo Jennings (Arts Committee Member).
All entries should be submitted to Amy Perry in Hazlerigg Building, Room 201 0.18 (or can be left with the team on Hazlerigg Reception) by 5pm, Friday 1 September.
Families from the London Campus are welcome to email photos of their creations.
Please ensure that you include your child’s name and age on the back of their work, as well as your own name and a contact email address.
Winners will be announced the following week, on Friday 8 September.
If you’re not yet a member of the Network, but would like to join, please email Sophie Hyde who will add you to the Teams Group.
