Seven doctoral candidates will start their work this year at the TECHNGI-CDT, Centre of Doctoral Training.

The Centre will hold its official launch event on 24 April 2023 at 3pm (BST). The event will feature a panel session with industry leaders and leading researchers in the field of insurance and risk management, who will explore the intersection of insurance, AI, and technology, and discuss the latest trends and advancements in the industry. The launch event is open to all; pre-registration is needed for the launch event and any queries can be made to Jackie Williams.

Professor Alistair Milne from the School of Business and Economics commented: “Loughborough has enjoyed a valuable partnership with the WTW research network, collaborating in the investigation of both insurance risks and of the adoption of AI and other technologies in financial services.
