Vegan Market Returns to Loughborough

Loughborough will welcome its second ever Vegan Market on Sunday, October 16, taking place in the Market Place between 10.30am and 4pm.

After proving to be popular with residents and visitors to the town when it was held earlier this year, the event will be run once again by Vegan Market Co. in partnership with the Charnwood Borough Council.

Councillor Jenny Bokor, lead member for Loughborough, comments on the upcoming event: "Following the successful [outcome] earlier this year, I’m really pleased the Vegan Market is returning to Loughborough. We hosted our first Vegan Market in May and there was a fantastic atmosphere in the Market Place! The event was very popular, and we expect hundreds of people will come along again to browse the excellent range of stalls and produce.”

The event will feature a variety of vegan street food (gluten-free options will be available), artisan bakes, craft cheeses, handmade cosmetics, ethical clothing and jewellery, arts and crafts and charity stalls, all created by a handpicked selection of talented, ethical and sustainable businesses.

Lewis Beresford, Vegan Market Co’s Founder added: “We are so excited to be back in Loughborough. We work hard to find the country’s leading vegan producers, from street food vendors and bakers to ethical clothing and cosmetic producers.

The Vegan Market will be wheelchair accessible, as well as allowing well-behaved dogs.
