The Validator Programme provides the structure and practical time needed to really interrogate, test and validate business hypotheses and ideas to take businesses to the next level.

It consisted of workshops delivered by Loughborough alumni:

Tailored online courses were sent to the students and graduates to help develop knowledge on limited companies, freelancing and social entrepreneurship. They also had the opportunity to connect and work with mentors across the Loughborough Enterprise Network and the wider Alumni community.

As part of this year's Validator Programme, each participant received a £500 grant from the Student Success Academy to help the cohort further develop and test business ideas. They also had the opportunity to enter a competition to win £250 by submitting a one-minute pitch video and utilising their networking skills to encourage people to vote for their business

Jessica Strain won with her business Ovrbloom.

Jessica commented: “Taking part in the Validator programme allowed me to connect with fantastic mentors who have guided me on my journey.”

Sophie Flight, Student Enterprise Coach added: “Programmes such as Validator are important to join when starting your venture. Validator brings community, structure, and feedback from the LEN team. It’s great to see confidence and progression from each founder.”

The Validator Programme will return in May 2023. Express your interest.
