Get in the festive spirit with Loughborough University Choir’s Christmas Concert

Loughborough University Choir will be bringing Dickens’ classic tale to life with a musical adaptation of ‘A Christmas Carol’.

The concert is on 14 December, 7.30pm at the Cope Auditorium and tickets are £7 or £5 for students. The venue also has free parking.

The story of ‘A Christmas Carol’ is retold with words by award-winning British playwright and actor Deborah McAndrew, with music by Staffordshire composer and educator Ashley Thompson. Drawing on a wide variety of styles, both old and new, this performance will incorporate well-loved carols and is the perfect blend of contemporary styles and traditional sentiment.

Eleanor Graff-Baker will conduct the Choir with accompanist Eleonora Babitsky.

Audience participation is encouraged and seasonal good cheer is guaranteed.

Book your tickets.

Tickets will be available on the door (subject to availability) but cash payments only.

The University Choir is open to students, staff and members of the public (age 16+) and rehearses on Monday evenings during term time. Membership is £10 per concert period (Jan-May or Sep-Dec) and free for Loughborough University students.
