Colourful archway by Atta Kwami in Shirley Pearce Square

Visit the Atta Kwami exhibition on campus

LU Arts are celebrating the recent arrival of sculptural works on campus by Ghanaian artist Atta Kwami, with a short exhibition.

Last month, we welcomed two sculptural works which have been loaned to the University by Pamela Clarkson-Kwami. To mark their arrival there is a short exhibition running 11-17 August in the Martin Hall Exhibition Space, close to the sculptures on Shirley Pearce Square.

The exhibition will launch on Thursday 11 August at 5.30pm with a drinks reception. All are welcome to attend and no advance booking is necessary. The exhibition will then be open 12pm-2pm on weekdays.

This is an opportunity to find out more about Kwami and these works and includes maquettes of the sculptures and paintings.

More information on Kwami and the exhibition.
