University’s Design, Creative Arts and Architecture Digital Showcase now available online

To complement the University’s physical Degree Shows, the projects of over 600 graduands specialising in Creative Arts, Design and Architecture can now be viewed online on a dedicated website.

The digital exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for potential employers, friends, family, industry and members of the public who are unable to attend the Shows to view work which has been produced by Loughborough students.

This year, you can see dynamic products providing solutions to common issues in society – such as protecting the environment, compact devices for medical conditions, and artistic responses to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on our daily lives. Furthermore, online visitors can expect to be dazzled by remarkable textile designs, bold and bright graphics, and audacious fine art masterpieces.

The website is also showcasing the innovative work of Architecture students and this year’s Art and Design Foundation Studies cohort.

It is available to view here.

Creative Arts student vlogs

Earlier this year, LU Arts commissioned four Creative Arts students to put together a short video charting their progress as they worked towards the installation of their final collection for the 2021 Degree Show. These videos give a fascinating insight into the processes involved and the range of skills and techniques the students have used to complete their collections.

You can watch the vlogs and find out more about each of the students by visiting The Limit.
