Reminder: Register your vehicle on the new car parking system

All staff are reminded that you MUST register your vehicle(s) if you wish to park on campus.

Registration is done by visiting the online portal and logging in using your University credentials.

You can also access guidance notes for the portal. If you need an alternative copy of these notes, please email parking@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk

Please note the online portal is linked to the University Active Directory, so access will require either the VPN or Multi-Factor Authentication if you are not on campus and are not connected to the VPN.

Once you have logged in, the system will recognise you and apply the appropriate tariff.

If you are grades 1-3, your permit is free of charge, but you must ensure that you have registered on the system and selected your monthly permit. A step-by-step guide to the process can be found on the staff parking website.

If you have done this already, please check that your permit is still active by clicking on the payment history tile when logged into the system. An active permit will show the buttons in black and an expired permit will show the buttons in blue. If your permit has expired, please follow the steps to select a new permit.

Information about parking enforcement

Parking charge notices are now in operation and will be issued for vehicles which are not parked properly (eg outside of a bay, and/or blocking roads and access points). The ANPR system will also automatically issue parking notices for non-payment, so it is important that anyone parking at the University registers their vehicle.

If you have planned visitors coming to campus, please inform them of parking tariff information in advance.

For more information, please visit the dedicated parking webpages or contact parking@mailbox.lboro.ac.uk.

Car parks and bus services

Staff can access any University car park and the details and locations are shown on the Loughborough University Campus Map.

The bus shuttle service transports staff across campus free of charge and should be used to support areas where parking is limited. The Kinch Sprint service which serves the town and train station will permit staff and students to travel free of charge to the Creative Arts site over the other side of Epinal Way.
