Monitoring Dynamic Working

Will Dynamic Working be reviewed in the future?

Yes. The Dynamic Working arrangements will be reviewed at the end of Semester 1 in the first instance and we will schedule in regular reviews thereafter to ensure that the arrangements are meeting the needs of the University its staff and students.

How will we know whether Dynamic Working is successful or whether we need to change it?

We are taking a flexible approach to Dynamic Working with regular reviews to allow us to make any adjustments. We will assess what is working, and what is not, and will test against as set of indicators that will include measures related to colleague engagement and wellbeing, equipment and space costs, process effectiveness, productivity and student satisfaction.

How do you ensure you don't have a reduced service on Mondays and Fridays as these may be popular days?

Managers will need to consider the needs of their service when agreeing Dynamic Working arrangements with their staff. Service should continue even if staff are working dynamically.
