Strategic Projects and Change

The University engages in a number of strategic projects aimed at developing the organisation and supporting our community through change. A summary for each of the current strategic projects is available on their pages, accessed from the links below.

Strategic projects

Strategic process review and improvement projects are facilitated by the Change Team in Organisational Development, using the “Loughborough way” to implement process improvements that cut across Schools and Professional Services. Process review and improvement is everyone’s responsibility and, in addition to the training available on the Loughborough approach to change, there is ‘guide on the side’ support to colleagues embarking on change projects in their own areas.

Bespoke support

Bespoke support is available to Senior Management Teams of Schools and Professional Services to work in partnership to find the best solutions to strategically important development needs in your areas:

Support for Technicians

The University has pledged action to support technicians working in higher education and research, across all disciplines, against four key issues:

  • Recognition
  • Sustainability
  • Visibility
  • Career development
