Please note that students can be registered to vote at home and term-time addresses.
You can also check your registration status by calling the Council on 01509 634546 or by completing the online form.
If you are not registered, you can do so online. The deadline for registration is at midnight, Tuesday 16 April.
Remember your photo ID
On the day of the election, you'll need an accepted form of photo ID in order to vote at the polling station. A list of accepted ID is available online. If you do not have any of the IDs on the list you can apply for a Voter Authority Certificate. This is free to do and the deadline is 5pm, Wednesday 24 April.
Vote by post
If you would like to vote via post, you need to apply by 5pm, Wednesday 17 April. Apply for a postal vote.
