School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences unveil new laboratories

The School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences (SSEHS) officially unveiled their newly refurbished labs in the Clyde Williams building this week.

The refurbishment, which is worth almost £750,000, provides new ground floor teaching labs for anatomy and biomechanics, a new lab for biochemistry and a new break out space for students.

Staff and students were given a tour of the new labs on Monday and provided with information in line with the launch of this year’s NSS campaign.

Lorraine Cale, Associate Dean of Teaching at the SSEHS, commented: “We are really excited about the opening of the new labs and space in the Clyde Williams Building. The refurbishment will really make a difference to our laboratory-based teaching and to the learning experience of our students.”
