Lecturer to present at the British Standards Launch Event
Mohamed Osmani, School of Civil and Building Engineering, will be presenting at a British Standards Institution Launch Event on Wednesday 11 November.
The event will present the British Standards 8895-2:2015 (Part 1 to Part 4) in detail and cover the key elements and benefits of the series of standards.
Mohamed has been Chair of the Committee that has been instrumental in developing the standard and, as Chairman, Mohamed will be presenting the content of the multi-part standard which refers to designing for material efficiency in building projects.
This is an important series for those involved in the construction industry who are looking to move to a sustainable construction and efficient building practices.
The event is free to attend and will take place from 4pm – 7pm at Pimlico Victoria, London.
