To complete the connection, you will be required to enter your Loughborough University Username and Password.

Connecting to eduroam

Settings

Open Wi-Fi Settings > select setup-wifi

Google Chrome

When connected > open Google Chrome - other browsers will not allow the cloudpath app to run.

Cloudpath

Type in https://cloudpath.lboro.ac.uk

Type in your Loughborough username and password > click Continue

AUP

Read and Accept the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Certificates

  • If you have previously connected to eduroam you can review your devices and delete certificates which are not in use
  • If you are redeploying an existing device, select the device name from the list and click ‘continue’.
  • If this is a new device, check ‘This is an additional device’, fill in the Name for the device and click ‘continue’.

Download the app

Click Step 1 to download Cloudpath, you will be directed to the Google Play store  > click Install

Return to cloudpath

Once installed, DO NOT OPEN THE CLOUDPATH APP, go back into Google Chrome, and click Step 2 (the cloudpath app will begin configuring)

Connect

Once complete > Open Wi-Fi settings > Select eduroam if it hasn’t already selected > click Connect

Remove setup-wifi

Once connected > click and hold setup-wifi > select Forget network, this will ensure it does not try to connect to setup-Wi-Fi in the future.

You can delete the cloudpath app if you wish.
